WHY DECAF GREEN TEA?
- Green tea has 24 - 40 mg of caffeine
- Decaf green teas have 1 - 10 mg of caffeine/li>

TEA BAGS
- Dunk the tea bags at least 20 times instead of just leaving the tea bag in your cup
- Tea bags have more caffeine than whole leaf tea

WHOLE LEAF TEA
- Select the mature whole leaves instead of the tea buds
- A blended green tea like 50% green tea & 50% mint or lemongrass will have less caffeine
- If you can find a late harvest tea like Bancha that is the best

BREWING TEA
- To decrease the caffeine, don't use boiling water
- Instead use water that's simmering (right before it boils)
- Brew from 1 - 3 minutes
Tea can impede the absorption
of iron from fruits and vegetables
To counteract this problem
- Add lemon or milk
- Drinking tea between meals
- Don't have more than 3 cups a day
