BROILED SESAME COD
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 lbs Cod fillets
- 1 t Margarine (for a meat meal) OR butter (for a dairy meal) (melted)
- 1 t Lemon juice
- 1 t Tarragon (dried )
- 1 pinch Black Pepper (ground)
- 1 T Sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
- 1. Pre-heat the oven's broiler & set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
- 2. Line a broiler pan with aluminum foil.
- 3. Place the cod fillets on the foil & brush with margarine if it’s a meal with meat OR butter
if it’s for dairy meal. - 4. Season with lemon juice, tarragon, black pepper & sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 5. Broil the fish in the pre-heated broiler until the flesh turns opaque & white & the fish
flakes easily (about 10 minutes).
