BEEF LO MEIN
INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz Spaghetti broken in half
- 1 t Sesame Oil
- 1/4 C Water (hot boiled)
- 1 T Beef Stock OR Bullion
- 3 T Soy Sauce OR Mock Soy Sauce
- 2 T Brown Sugar
- Oil for frying
- l lb Beef
- 2 Carrots (large)
- 2 C Broccoli
- 1 Onion (large)
- 4 Garlic (cloves)
DIRECTIONS
- 1. Cook spaghetti per box instructions.
- 2. Into cooked spaghetti add sesame oil & stir to combine.
- 3. Into hot, boiled water add Beef Stock or Bullion & brown sugar & stir to dissolve.
- 4. Into the mixture, add soy sauce or mock soy sauce & set aside.
- 5. Using a hot skillet, brown both sides of the beef.
- 6. Let beef cool & slice it into two inch pieces.
- 7. Add sliced beef into the same skillet & fry until completely cooked.
- 8. Into the cooked beef, add sauce mixture, cook all together for about a minute &
set aside. - 9. Dice carrots, broccoli & onion into two inch pieces.
- 10. Using the skillet, where you've cooked beef, sautee onions until golden brown &
remove from the heat. - 11. In a separate oiled skillet, sautee carrots until softened, add broccoli & cook for
about three minutes. - 12. Press garlic into the same mixture & remove form the heat.
- 13. In a large dish, combine spaghetti, vegetables & beef, together.
- 14. Toss to combine, serve hot.
