SZECHUAN BEEF STIR FRY
Combine thin strips of steak & veggies for this Szechuan Beef Stir-Fry.
This elegant Szechuan Beef Stir-Fry cooks quickly & deliciously.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lb Beef Steak (boneless) (well trimmed)
- 3 Garlic (cloves) (minced)
- 1/4 t Red Pepper (crushed)
- 1/4 C Toasted Sesame Dressing (Lite Asian)
- 2 T Hoisin sauce
- 2 T Soy Sauce (lite or mock soy sauce)
- 2 t Cornstarch
- 2 t Oil
- 1 C Carrot skicks (matchlike)
- 2 Celery (stalks) (thinly sliced)
- 3 Onions (Green) (large) (sliced)
DIRECTIONS
- 1. Cut steak crosswise into thin slices, then cut each slice into thin strips.
- 2. Place meat in medium bowl.
- 3. Add garlic & crushed pepper; mix lightly.
- 4. Combine next 4 ingredients
- 5. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- 6. Add meat, in batches; stir-fry 1 to 2 min. or just until meat strips are no longer pink in
centers. - 7. Transfer to plate; set aside.
- 8. Add carrots & celery to skillet; stir-fry 2 min
- 9. Return meat to skillet along with the dressing mixture, stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes or until
meat is done & sauce is slightly thickened. - 10. Stir in Onions.
