HOW TO START
If you're in good health start with 2 lb weights
- Start with 12 repititions (reps)
- Work to fatigue or failure
- Take a 48 hour rest between each muscle group
- Optimally each muscle group is exercised 1-2 times a week
- When you reach 18 reps it's time to increase the weights
Weight lifting as exercise
is recommended for all ages
Seniors should not begin weight lifting for exercise
without checking with their doctor
