♦♦♦♦♦
MEDICAL PLAN
- Most schools have a preferred plan & will send you the information
- If there isn't a preferred plan, AIM is the most reputable of all the plans
- The application will require:
Passport photos
Medical Form - part for the parent & part for the doctor
Shot schedule
If you have more than 1 teen going pay by July 31st to obtain a discount
♦♦♦♦♦
CELL PHONE PLAN
- There is no inexpensive plan
- Some programs insist that you use a specific phone plan because they have alerts &/or
GPS so they know where you are at all times - Even though you try to set up the plan before your teen leaves they may still have problems
- Some problems such as changing the Hebrew message to English or obtaining more minutes can be solved by going to a mini-outlet cellcom or orange store
- If the phone was set up for internet usage but it doesn't work, they may have to go to the full service cellcom or orange store
♦♦♦♦♦
DEBIT CARD
- If your teen doesn't have a debit card you need to acquire one
- Try to use a bank that allows you to put money in the account on-line otherwise you'll find yourself making too many inconvenient trips to the bank
- Try to find one without any transaction fees
- You'll need to scrutinize the copies of the bills that you'll
receive just like you would a credit
card to make sure that there's no fraud on the card - You will have to check with your teen regularly to make sure all the purchases are genuine because many of the Israel stores are listed under a different name when they show up
on the bill
